Welcome to the NPRA Official Website!

NPRA Bulletin

As bulletin editor for the NPRA, I firmly believe that the bulletin for any club is quite possibly the most important thing the club can do.  In many cases, it is the only contact members have with the club they are part of and the only means by which they can keep up with club events.  For this reason, I believe a bulletin should be the best that it can be and be something the membership looks forward to receiving.  It should be neat, informative, and published in a timely manner and I will do my very best to uphold these standards.

I want the NPRA bulletin to be something you look forward to getting on a quarterly basis and therefore welcome any articles, ads, etc. that you would like to have published.

In order to keep our bulletin published in a timely manner, I ask that submissions for the NPRA bulletin arrive to me by the following dates for each scheduled bulletin:

BulletinBy EmailBy USPS Regular Mail
1st Quarter -- January 1stDecember 1stNovember 15th
2nd Quarter -- April 1stMarch 1stFebruary 15th
3rd Quarter -- July 1stJune 1stMay 15th
4th Quarter -- October 1stSeptember 1stAugust 15th

Bulletins can be either emailed to you or hard copies mailed out.  If emailed to you, they will come in PDF format and will be sent out around 2 weeks prior to the hard copies being mailed out. Bulletin submissions can be sent to the Bulletin Editor.

Following are some of the things we would like to have in each bulletin:

1.)  Classified Ad Section -- This will be free to all NPRA Members.  We would also consider having 1/4 page, 1/2 page, or even full page ads at some point.
2.)  Articles about color projects, performance, training, families of Rollers, etc.
3.)  Q & A Section -- We would take questions that you would like answers to and get some different answers from other members.
4.)  Member Profile -- We would like to have a member profile each bulletin where an NPRA member is asked some questions about their birds, breeding, flying, etc.  Mainly to get to know a little more about each other.
5.)  We are open to ideas as to what you, the membership, would like to also see in the bulletins.  The bulletin will be that much better the more submissions we get so please feel free to let me know what you would like to see!!!

Finally, please remember that the NPRA Bulletin Editor reserves the right to refuse publishing articles that are derogatory or negative towards the hobby in any way.  I also reserve the right to postpone publishing articles due to size restrictions, time limitations, etc.  I will vow to publish as many member submissions as humanly possible.
